52 weeks Lolita Challenge - 11 ~ 3 trends I wish would come back

In lolita fashion trends change soo fast and so constantly.

This year, for exemple at Enchanted, you could see a lot of OTT headdress for both Classic or Sweet or the use of the tights insted of otk or ankle socks!

But which old trend I wish would come back?

1 ~ Otk and ankle sock in sweet lolita

well, otks are not out of fashion already, but I hope they will not become it! Tights are so comfortable but I socks like ankle socks or otks seems to cute to me for sweet!

2 ~ Country Lolita and other substyles

I like mostly hime, country and sailor and lately this styles are disappearing IMO and it's such a pity :(

3 ~ Rectangular Headdress

I never worn one of these just because my hair was not suitable for this accessory, but I love to see them!

I hope to catch one someday or make it! It's one of easier accessory you can make!

52 weeks Lolita Challenge - 10 ~ How I first found out about Lolita

Hello everyone!
Do you trust me if I'll say you I really don't remember how I found out about lolita?? D:
Seriously, I think I found a picture of AP or MM on Google and from it, starting to looking for others pictures.

Once understand what kind of fashion was, I joined the Italian community.
There were a lot of information, for a newbie it was a goldmine of information! Then I discovered the existence of the EGL comm and I started officially to interested about buying some pieces!

My wardrobe grow so slowly,  I have really few pieces even if I started to buy 2 years ago!
But I understand that I prefer buying few pieces but that I really like instead of a lot of cute pieces that I don't dislike!

52 weeks Lolita Challenge - 9 ~ 5 keywords that describe my personal Lolita style

Hello everyone!

Can a style be simplified in only 5 words? To be honest it was difficult for me to reach five keywords, but these are the ones I chose!

♥ ~ Minimalist

Am I serious?! How can be lolita minimalist? XD I know is a contradiction, but I really don't wear ott. I like it so much but I can't see on me!

♥ ~ Floral

Flower everywhere!! If the print of the dress hasn't flowers, I use them anyway in my hair!!

♥ ~ Pink

I love everything is pink! There is always one touch of this color in my outfit!

♥ ~ Single-brand

Is this an adjective? :D AP rulez!

♥ ~ Unpretentious

I know it's quite similar to the first point, but I prefer to keep my outfit "low profile". I feel more comfortable in it!

52 weeks Lolita Challenge - 8 ~ Why don't I wear Lolita more often?

Good morning everyone!

These are the few reasons I don't wear lolita more often:

1~ Laziness

I'm always in rush and a lolita outfit needs time to be prepared! makeup, accessorizes, many layers!

2~ Mood

I need to be in the mood for clothes, if I put on random stuff I don't feel good with myself and become paranoid!

♥

3~ Work

I can get dirty when I work so ruin my beloved and expensive lolita pieces is a suicide!

♥

4~ Self confidence

Some days (as everyone I think) I feel horrible!! :D and don't feel to wear frills and bows!

♥

These are in short the my reasons!

52 weeks Lolita Challenge - 7 ~ Why I wear Lolita?

Hello everyone!
This week the question is: Why I wear Lolita?
It's simple, it makes me feel pretty!
Normally, when a girl grows up, she wants to be sexy or attractive. Cute or pretty are usually used for little girls, but I love to feel that way! And also, this fashion is so special and rare, it's really difficult find another person with your same dress!!
And every dress is so special, they have wonderful details, soft fabrics, lovely prints, exclusive lace!
Every brand is different, you can recognize it only looking the dress!
And another reason I love lolita is that it's funny and colorful! It's possible to mix styles and pattern, and change drastically the look of an outfit changing only the blouse and shoes!

The real question should be this:
Why shouldn't I wear lolita?

So easy this week!

is absolutely my fav brand!

Almost all my wardrobe is AP and, because this year they made a lot of beautiful dresses, their pieces will be added to my closet surely!

Tokyo "head"shop

I really hope to get the chance one day to visit their shops! Unfortunately, when I went in Paris this year, their shop there was already closed :((

But they told that on July they will open a temporary shop, always in Paris! I hope to have the possibility to go!! *finger crossed* [here the news]

Currently my dream dress is Sweetie Violet (as I said few posts before) but I'm happy to say that my obsession has subsided!

52 weeks Lolita Challenge - 5 ~ My wardrobe turnover

Hello everyone!

This week I'm gonna talk about my wardrobe turnover.

Actually I didn't sold many dresses, but my chess chocolate set made me earn a lot of money!

I spent so much too when I bought it and it was a pity because it was one of mine dream dress. But even if you love a dress doesn't mean it fits you well! I realized that I feel comfortable with floral print or solid color dress.

In this regard yesterday I bought Sweetie Violet jsk in pink.

It isn't my first choice, but if I will find the lavender one day, I'll buy it too surely! :D And to be honest I want even the OP (somebody save me!)

So, my wardrobe didn't change at all, even if I liked classic early, I bought only a classic dress so I didn't sell anything!

I'm sorry, this entry isn't very interesting!

Week one: 5 pieces that every Lolita wardrobe should have, regardless of style

1 - A good and puffy petticoat! A lolita dress is not lolita without the right puffiness!

2 - Comfy but cute shoes/boots. You can surely choose a pair is not by a Lolita brand, the world is full of cute shoes! I love teaparties!

3 - Bloomers is-the-way! I hate sitting without wearing bloomers or tights! And they keep you warm and hygienically protected when you sit on the ground or in a public place.

4 - Head piece, whatever you want but you NEED at least one! I love roses and bow and Btssb ones!

5 - A bag in the main color of your wardrobe. If you keep one color as principal, one good bag in this color is enough for all your coord!

30 Days Lolita Challenge: Day 30 - End! ♥

Today is the last day of "30 days lolita challenge".. I'm a little bit sad because this game helped me writing my blog with regularity and think about my lolita life.

In this days the 3 good things happened were:

1 ~ I had to think of what I like and what not. I convinced myself I like classic the most, but I lied to myself. I like Mary Magdalene, it's true, but sweet, in particular Ap, is the style I really love. I thought that for my age sweet was not good, but it's absolutely not true! Everyone should be able to wear what they want, isn't it?

2 ~ I got one of the most gorgeous dress I've ever seen by AP! Romantic Rose Letter is really a precious print and the cut of the dresses are fabulous! I hope to get the other jsk!

3 ~ When I was little I wore always awful clothes. I'm not very skinny and this made me feel like I had to hide my body with jeans and sweater, but this didn't make me prettier.. Dresses and skirts "hide" better my hips and make me more feminine! This month I've bought only dresses, not only for lolita, and I'm happy about this. I'm finding my own style! Yeah!!

I don't think this manga is popular, surely not like Paradise Kiss or Neighborhood Story ( I'm talking about Miwako!) but Berry Dynamite by Aya Nakahara tell the story of a couple of idol that wear lolita clothes!

The story is quite funny! Kurumi (right) is a super cute girl who loves strawberry, lolita and be an idol, Mai (left) want to become a rockstar but accepts to work with Kurumi only to aquire the fame she need to realize her dream.
The dresses are simple, no print, a bit old school sometimes!
Kurumi is so lovely and ingenuous! I really love her because even if she acts like a stupid, she does it with good intention!!

I'm so glad I've met them! Most of the Lolita on internet are quite nasty, but I was so lucky and both of them are not only fantastic, but kind and we think mostly the same things even if we like different styles!

Day 19 – What’s in your make-up bag?

I have two make-up bags (3 actually! XD): One is for the make up I take with me and the others are for the products I use only at home, when I have the time to "try to make the miracle"!

I buy only low-budget cosmetics.. I use them only in my free time, the rest of the day I look like a monster! So, spend a lot of money for something a use so little it's a worth. I like Essence cosmetics. They are really cheap and quite good for my need. Some products are not so good, but like in everything you have to choose well! They make a seasons (or for special event) lines and the best bargains are surely in this special item!
